Morocco is a crossroads of different eras and cultures. This country, located at the intersection of paths between Africa and Europe, blends a multitude of influences and a vibrant palette of colours — the turquoise of the ocean, the white peaks of mountains, the red walls of ancient quarters. Like elements of a whimsical mosaic, Moroccan experiences intertwine to create a canvas rich in character and breathtaking for its pallette.
We invite you to embark on an exciting journey to Morocco with KERAMA MARAZZI. We are confident that your dreams of a unique interior will become reality with our new collection!
The new collection of ceramic materials features 20 series of wall tiles and 16 series of porcelain gres, including MAXI carpets. All finishing solutions are inspired by Morocco: its nature, colour palette, and decorative crafts from this unusual and charming country.
COLOURS OF MOROCCO
The vividness of the new collection is largely achieved through an astonishing colours infused with the essence of its cities and deserts, palaces and shaded gardens. The harmony found in many of the wall tiles series presented in Morocco is fundamentally based on colour; some combinations provide contrasting tones, while others complement each other, sometimes helping to create a handcrafted effect through majolica gradients.
The medium and large sizes significantly contribute to conveying the beauty of colour. A true revelation of the collection is the 60×119.5 wall tiles; with this size, it becomes easy to design both private and commercial interiors, filling large public spaces with chosen shades and textures.
ORNAMENTS OF MOROCCO
In the Moroccan landscape, colours often blend together to form astonishing combinations. These can also be found in the patterns of handwoven carpets, on ceramic ware, and in the attire of passers-by on the narrow streets of ancient medinas. The charming courtyards of riads often employ zellij — decorative arrangements of geometrically precise ceramic fragments that form exquisite, sophisticated ornaments, as if plucked from fashion runways. Many renowned couturiers, including Yves Saint Laurent, have drawn inspiration from the Moroccan style.
Among the trendy sizes, in addition to the familiar and beloved arabesques, tiles in the shape of a diamond measuring 7.8×13.5 cm are offered; this is an excellent solution for creative layouts incorporating one, two, or more colours.
